Edinburgh pie and mash restaurant named best in UK at TripAdvisor 2022 awards

An Edinburgh restaurant has been named in a best of list by travel review site TripAdvisor.

Makars Gourmet Mash Bar was awarded the number one in the ‘Everyday Eats’ category for the UK region in the 2022 Travellers Choice Best of the Best list.

With over 5,000 ‘excellent’ 5-star ratings on the site, it may come as no surprise that this “hidden gem” was granted such a high honour.
