An exhibition displaying photos of forgotten shops in Edinburgh has given a glimpse of life in the city more than 50 years ago.
Showing how much times have changed, an exciting free show at the City Art Centre features a range of photographs of unseen and forgotten Edinburgh interiors by contemporary Scottish artist Ron O’Donnell.
From brush shops, prison cells, public toilets and laundrettes, Ron has captured snapshots of the city spanning from the 1970s right through to 2010. Some of the images taken in the 70s when he was a student no longer exist.
