An Edinburgh pharmacy unexpectedly closed its doors for a day with a note saying that there is 'no staff members.'
The handwritten note appeared at the Lloyds Pharmacy store located in Straiton, inside the Sainsbury's supermarket.
Managers apologise to any prospective customers in the message and directed them to the NHS website.

The note reads: "This pharmacy is closed today until further notice, as there are NO staff members.
"Please consult the NHS inform website for all pharmacies that are open today. Sorry for any inconvenience."
Locals took to social media to express their annoyance at the store shutting on Sunday with no prior warning.
Edinburgh Live contacted the pharmacy and was told the business is back open and accepting customers on Monday.
This comes after the news that the Lloyd Pharmacy put branches which are located inside of Sainsbury's stores across the UK at risk of closure.

A spokesperson said: “The LloydsPharmacy in Loanhead, Straiton Road was closed on Sunday 23rd April 2023, due to staff sickness. The branch has since resumed normal service and patients can continue to access the care that they need, we would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
“We can confirm that the Loanhead Pharmacy in Sainsburys will close later this year. In January 2023 LloydsPharmacy announced the withdrawal of pharmacy services from all Sainsbury’s stores, to take place throughout 2023. Final plans for each pharmacy are being determined on a branch-by-branch basis. We are currently in consultation with those employees potentially affected.
“Throughout the process, LloydsPharmacy has been committed to helping patients easily find a suitable alternative provision. As part of this, branch teams have kept patients informed of when services from their specific pharmacy will end so that they can transfer their nominations to an alternative provision.
“LloydsPharmacy can confirm that no other LloydsPharmacy store is at risk of closure, except those within the Sainsbury’s estate.”
