Edinburgh passenger assaulted by aggressive man on train service

Edinburgh British Transport Police Dundee Police

The British Transport Police are investigating an assault onboard an Edinburgh train which led to the victim suffering facial injuries.

The incident occurred on an Edinburgh to Dundee service on Saturday, September 25, between 11:15pm and midnight.

Officers received multiple reports of an aggressive male on board the service. The assault is believed to have happened as the train travelled between the capital and Kinghorn.
