An Edinburgh nurse has been forced to quit her job after smokers outside the hospital where she worked triggered her asthma causing severe attacks that left her in A&E.

Olivia Fulton has called on NHS bosses and the police to apply the law after it was made illegal earlier this year. The health worker is being backed by charity Asthma + Lung UK and has a severe form of asthma with one of the triggers being smoke.
