Edinburgh New Town is welcoming a further addition to its dining and drinking venue list as a new Manhattan-inspired cocktail bar and restaurant opens today, July 8.
Located at Frederick Street, 63rd+1st bar and restaurant has partnered with the Secret Garden Distillery - one of Scotland's most respected and acknowledged drinks brands - to offer an exciting cocktail menu in time for the summer season.

The new venue occupies the former Cafe Rouge spot and promises to bring a true Manhattan vibe to the Scottish capital. The place - owned and operated by Hostmore plc, the same company as the popular American-inspired dining chain Fridays - will feature an extensive menu featuring sharing plates and bespoke cocktails.
With indoor and outdoor seating areas, Edinburgh's 63rd+1st bar is the fourth venue to open this year, following the group's success in Glasgow, Cobham and Harrogate.
Robert B. Cook, CEO of Hostmore plc, said: "We are delighted to be bringing the fourth 63rd+1st cocktail bar and restaurant to the capital of Scotland, and in doing so, continue to share the unique 63rd+1st experience with guests from across this great city and region.
"We've had our sights on expanding to Edinburgh since we founded the brand and have been patiently waiting for the right location. The bar and restaurant scene in the capital is thriving, and as we get ready to welcome the festival back to the city, bigger and better than ever, there is an amazing buzz and sense of excitement in the city once again.

"63rd+1st represents the coming together of people, culture, tastes, and styles. Our menu will undoubtedly entertain and excite all our guests courtesy of fantastic cocktails created by a team of expert bartenders and our New York City street food-inspired menu, all of which emphasises our brand premise that 'Life Tastes Better Shared'.
"Add to that our amazing city centre location and beautiful interiors, 63rd+1st will appeal to a broad range of leisure and business clientele, and we have exciting plans to roll out events and collaborations throughout the summer and beyond."
Open from 9am every day, the venue is not only a new top cocktail destination but would also make an excellent spot for a hearty breakfast and a morning coffee.
