One of the oldest cities in the world and home to body snatchers, serial killers, witches, sorcerers and ghosts at various points in its history, it'll come as no surprise then, that Edinburgh has been named the 'spookiest city' in Europe. With Halloween approaching a new study has named as the place to go to for some supernatural fun.
Holidu, the booking portal for holiday rentals, decided to find the cities in Europe with the highest-rated Ghost and Vampire tours as presented on TripAdvisor.
A spokesperson for the travel firm said: "Stories about haunted houses, pumpkin carving, and scary movies - who doesn’t love the spooky season?
