Edinburgh residents will be delighted to hear that the capital has recently been voted the best place to live in the UK according to a new survey.
Research carried out by HomeViews asked over 36,000 people from across the nation to review places they have called their home and the outcome led to Edinburgh coming out on top, with Aberdeen also appearing in the top five.
Second on the list was Worcestershire, followed by Aberdeen in third, Bristol in fourth and Greater Manchester rounding up the top five. Other honourable mentions include North Yorkshire and Bedfordshire, as the Record reports.
