A man has been rushed to hospital following an early morning incident in the west end of Edinburgh.
Emergency services were spotted near to the Water of Leith at around 7.30am on Friday (May 27).
Several police cars, fire appliances and ambulances attended the scene in Magdala Crescent and officers have now confirmed reports of concern for a person in the area.
A 39-year-old man has since been rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. His condition is not known.
According to a local dog walker, a number of officers were seen assisting the individual on the path in the wooded area.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called around 7.30am on Friday, 27 May, to a report of a concern for person at the Water of Leith, near Magdala Crescent, Edinburgh.
"Emergency services attended a 39-year-old man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment by the Scottish Ambulance Service."
