An Edinburgh man has sadly died outside a local shop after taking 'unwell' in the street on Saturday morning.
Police raced to the newsagents on Lochend Road South around 10.45am after receiving reports of concern for a person.
The Scottish Ambulance Service also attended the scene but the individual was pronounced dead. Police were pictured around the cordon set up outside Well pharmacy and a local newsagents by concerned passers-by.

There are reportedly no suspicious circumstances around his death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.45 am on Saturday, 4 March 2023, police were called to assist Scottish Ambulance Service colleagues who were attending to a man who had taken unwell on Lochend Road South, Lochend, Edinburgh."

They added: "The man died at the scene. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
