An Edinburgh man has been airlifted to hospital after sustaining an injury at a local beauty spot.
The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCGA) confirmed the walker was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary on Monday afternoon after getting into difficulty.
The rescue helicopter could be seen flying low near Arthur's Seat while undertaking the rescue mission on February 27 at around 4pm.

The man who injured his leg was then transported by air to hospital for treatment. It is unknown how serious the injury was.
Police Scotland confirmed that a helicopter was also out in the capital shortly after the incident regarding concern for a person.

A spokesperson for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said: "On February 27 a man with a leg injury was taken to hospital by helicopter."
