Edinburgh locals treated to stunning sunset with fiery orange and pink tones

Last night Edinburgh locals from across the capital were treated to a stunning sunset bursting with golden tones as many shared the beautiful snaps on social media.

Although it was dreich and rainy throughout Wednesday, the bright rays still came through early dinner time for the sunset.

As it hit 6pm and the sun went down, the sky lit up with colours of vibrant pink and orange to create a stunning sunset for Edinburgh residents to enjoy.
