Edinburgh locals were left stunned after noticing an entire coach parked on the pavement in the city centre.
Those walking from London Road towards the Omni Centre on Thursday morning, July 28, were perplexed after having to walk around the huge bus that was blocking the pavement outside Planet Bar and Kitchen on Baxter's Place.
One resident who snapped a picture of the coach, posted it on Twitter, saying: "A new low for chaotic traffic management in Edinburgh. Coach parked on pavement!"

The white bus is seemingly blocking a large section of the pavement on the busy commuter route, with no tourists or driver present in the image.
With the road beside the pavement having double-yellow lines, the driver obviously felt like they had no other option to park up on the pavement, with offloading guests staying at the Courtyard by the Marriott a possible explanation for the bizarre incident.
The area in question is currently extremely busy during peak hours throughout the day, due to the ongoing Trams to Newhaven project that is due to be completed by Spring 2023.
Cars can be seen queuing in traffic next to the stationary coach at traffic begins to build around 8:30am.
