It'll come as no surprise that Scotland regularly tops lists of must-visit destinations for travellers around the world.
It seems though, that one city has more appeal than most others.
Edinburgh has just been named as the only UK city to make a top 10 best city break destinations in Europe shortlist.
The capital, which is famous for its stunning architecture, landmarks like the castle and Arthur's Seat, as well as its annual festivals, ranked in seventh place in the survey by luggage specialists Bounce, with an overall city break score of 7.11 and boasts one of the highest numbers of things to do per 100,000 people at 302.4.
A spokesperson for Bounce said: "Where are the best European city break destinations? And which are the most affordable? To find out, we’ve ranked 50 of the continent’s top cities on factors such as things to see and do, the local weather, and how much you can expect to spend during your visit."
They gave each city a normalized score out of ten for each of the factors below, before taking an average of these scores for their final rankings.
