And dozens in the industry gathered at the recent ceremony to find out which hotels triumphed across the various categories, with notable successes for capital accommodation.
Taking home the award for Best Hotel in Scotland between 50 and 200 rooms was the Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel.

Meanwhile, landing the Best Hotel in Scotland over 200 rooms prize was InterContinental Edinburgh The George, which we recently featured on our site after it was named one of Edinburgh's best hotels by Conde Nast.
And it was a night of double celebration for the InterContinental, with Scott Keenan winning the Best Concierge accolade.
Furthermore, Edinburgh's Point A Hotels was highly recommended in the Best Low Cost category, while there was also a mention for Ten Hill Place Hotel as being highly recommended in the Best Hotel Team award.
