A bewildered capital resident has captured video footage of a woman stealing one of their driveway plants before making off with the pot.
The Clermiston homeowner, who wishes to remain anonymous, shared the video in the hope that they could highlight the behaviour to others living in the area.
Their Ring doorbell camera captured the footage shortly before 1am on the morning of Sunday, June 11.

A woman, who is wearing a summer dress, appears to have covered her face with a light scarf in the hope that she will be able to avoid being identified.
She can be seen walking brazenly to the area next to the front door before bending down and picking up the plant in one arm.
The woman then turns around and walks directly out of the driveway and down the street with the family’s plant and its pot.
“Someone appeared around 1am on Sunday morning, she walked straight into the drive and helped herself to the artificial plant,” the homeowner said.
They added that they were absolutely puzzled by the behaviour exhibited in the video and that they hoped that the person could be identified after the video was shared.
