Edinburgh Fringe - the world's largest performance arts festival - returns to the Scottish city in August.
For three weeks in August, the city of Edinburgh welcomes an explosion of creative energy from around the globe. Artists and performers take to hundreds of stages all over the city to present shows for every taste.
Before heading to the festival, here is a list of the world class comedians taking the stages this year that you should be sure to catch.
Joe McTernan
The Edinburgh-based comedian has over 30 million views online as well as 170k followers thanks to his hilarious character-based sketches.
He's due to perform a high-energy debut show Life Advice That Won’t Change Your Life to this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, putting his observational stand-up and unique style on display as he discusses his irritation at inspirational online life advice and lambasts motivational nonsense.

Cam Gavinski
Talent improvisor Cam is well known for his viral TikTok sketches that have introduced his followers to his absurd characters. Prepare yourself for "modern woke tongue-in-cheek deconstruction of toxic-masculinity" as well as a delightfully random penis puppet show.
Flexing his multifaceted talents, Cam has also written, directed, and starred in multiple viral videos that have amassed over 20 Million Views across social media & recently made his TV debut with roles in the latest season of Euphoria and Netflix ’s teen comedy Boo, B***h.
Myq Kaplan
Myq has made appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, as well as his own specials on Comedy Central and Amazon thanks to his legendary comedic performances.

John Hastings
John's razor-keen performances on topics including Covid, TV auditions, mental health, kinky sex, alternative spirituality, psychedelics, self-acceptance and cat ownership have seen him labelled as one of the "hardest-working comedians."
The winner of the JFL Homegrown Award, Coca Comedian of the Year, Canadian Comedy Awards nominee and One to Watch selection by the Comedy Network will be returning to Edinburgh Fringe with his latest show: The Times They Are A John Hastings.
