Edinburgh fixer-upper flat up at auction for £79,000 - but there's a catch

A one bed flat that would make a good project has been put up for auction.

The ground-floor apartment on Caledonian Road in Haymarket is need of some work and the sellers emphasise that it would make an 'excellent development opportunity'.

It is currently being auctioned off at a guide price of £79,000. Once the mould and much-needed refurbishment is completed, it is expected to rake in a rental income of £840.
