Emergency services raced to a body of water in Edinburgh on Wednesday morning, after reports of 'possible concern for a person'.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were seen at the Shore in Leith in the early morning. Just before 8am, crews remained on the scene with police adding that the 'enquiries at are at a very early stage'.
It is currently unconfirmed if they are searching for a body.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said : “Around 5.45 am on Wednesday, 14 June, 2023, we received a report of a possible concern for a person at The Shore in Edinburgh. Enquiries are at a very early stage and searches of the area are being carried out.”
The Scottish Fire and Rescue service confirmed they had received reports and were in attendance.
A resident who saw emergency services at work said: "There's at least three fire trucks, two police cars and an ambulance.
"They've got some of the crew in a boat checking the water. You hope it's not what you think it is."
