As Edinburgh families prepare their lilos and suitcases for holidays abroad this summer, airlines will be preparing for an influx of flyers this year.

Flights to popular holiday destinations tend to be expensive at busy times of the year, with Spain, Italy and France included in places many people visit during the summer.

However, budget airline easyJet has come to the rescue once again, with cheap one-way flights for under £50 this summer.
