An easyJet flight bound for Edinburgh was diverted to Manchester after a technical issue occurred mid air.
The aircraft from London destined for the capital was forced to make a stop at Manchester Airport after a technical issue on July 6.

After grounding the plane was given a full inspection and all safety checks were carried out before it continued the journey to Edinburgh safely arriving at the destination.
A spokesperson for EasyJet said: "EasyJet can confirm that flight EZY312 from London Stansted to Edinburgh yesterday evening diverted to Manchester due to a technical issue.
“The aircraft landed safely and was met by engineers who undertook an inspection of the aircraft and the flight then continued to Edinburgh."
They added: “The safety of our passengers and crew is EasyJet's highest priority and easyJet operates its fleet of aircraft in strict compliance with all manufacturers’ guidelines.”
