A number of Edinburgh drivers were caught out near the city centre this week after police cracked down on behaviour at a new junction.
Officers in the capital took to social media on Thursday, December 8, to warn motorists about some of the changes in Leith. Responding to community concerns, police inspected a selection of affected areas where the issues were reported.
Beginning at London Road, new changes due to the Trams to Newhaven project has seen a 'no left turn' sign erected for drivers heading up from Leith Walk.

In addition, police also carried out a selection of static road checks, which included breath tests, however all seven had come back negative.
Finally, a HGV driver was hit with three points on their license after officers watched them park on zig-zags leading to a pedestrian crossing, which saw them instantly issued with a ticket.
