Police in Edinburgh rushed to a busy junction near the city centre after a car had crashed into a section of the tram construction site.
Pictures from the junction at Montgomery Street on Leith Walk on Friday night show a silver van being recovered from the centre of the tram line after an apparent crash late at night.
Police arrived at the scene around 11:30pm as officers were seen parked at Elm Row while a recovery truck was loading the vehicle onto the back and driving off.

It is currently unclear what caused the accident and if there were any injuries to those involved. An eye witness was reportedly told by one of the workers on the scene that the vehicle had collided with the barriers surrounding the tram construction site.
On Thursday, a similar situation arose after an orange vehicle was seen stuck in the tram lines further down at the foot of Leith Walk, with police having to arrange the removal of the car.
The Trams to Newhaven team put out a post on social media saying that they were aware of the collision and were assisting Police Scotland where necessary.
Police Scotland were approached for comment.
