An Edinburgh walker says he was astonished when they came across a rangale of deer during a Sunday morning stroll in Barnton.
The capital dad, who wishes to remain anonymous, said he stumbled across eight or nine deer when on a walk down the woodland path at the back of the Royal Burgess golf course in the north of the city on Sunday April 30 at around 9.30am.
He had been walking their border collie along with their son and a couple of friends down the quiet walkway between Barnton Avenue West and Barnton Avenue when an initial group of three deer came through a gap in the fence.
