An Edinburgh woman was thrown from her bike on Monday morning as emergency services rushed to the scene.
Edinburgh Live understands police were on Princes Street shortly after the incident, before declaring a medical emergency and handing over to the ambulance service. Her identity, and condition, is currently unknown.
The incident, which happened just before 8.30am, was seen by commuters on their way to work.

One passer-by said: "There was someone sat on the central reservation of Princes Street next to the tram tracks facing the gardens. There was also a bike on the ground nearby. The road was obviously busy with buses and other vehicles at that time.
"A group of good samaritans had gathered to help and she looked like they had a blanket wrapped around her shoulders. Thankfully, she was clearly conscious because the group was talking to her - one pointed at her head.
"Another even had an umbrella to keep the rain off. The police arrived soon afterwards from the west end of Princes Street and you could see one of the officers on his radio."
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: "Officers attended an incident on Princes Street, and after investigating concluded that it was a medical emergency.
"Once the ambulance service arrived, officers handed over and allowed paramedics to continue."
