The leader of Edinburgh Council took to social media on Sunday morning in a sweary rant - branding a local supermarket "t****".
Labour Councillor Cammy Day hit out at the Easter Road Lidl supermarket at 7.40am on Twitter - also tagging the local police to alert them of his surprise wake up call.
A customer service representative for the store replied to the raging Labour leader's tweet asking which store but he did not follow up.

"Thank you to @LidlGB #t**** for being a pain in the a**. Alarm goes off regularly and nothing done about it @Edinburgh_CC @PoliceScotland"
Cammy explained the alarm had gone off three times previously and when he tried to contact police and the council he got no response.

Speaking to Edinburgh Live the council leader said: "It was the Easter Road store, it's the third time in a week that this has happened.
"It happens at midnight and early in the morning, I have reported it to the police and the council and got no response.
"I emailed Lidl last week and got no response, now I have tweeted I have received a response so maybe now people who live around Easter Road won't be woken up by an alarm."
