A major police presence has been spotted outside an Edinburgh train station with eight vehicles responding to an ongoing incident.
Market Street, at the rear of Waverley Station is currently cordoned off with forensic officers at the scene.
Police scrambled to the street underneath North Bridge shortly after 1pm on Tuesday, September 27, after a separate ongoing incident on Chambers Street prompted a bomb disposal unit to assess the scene opposite the National Museum.

Police Scotland confirmed that a man was found injured on Market Street and officers remain in attendance.
A police spokeswoman said: “Officers are currently in attendance at Market Street in Edinburgh after a man was found injured. Enquiries are ongoing”
Images from the scene show a cluster of force vehicles parked near the station, with a cordon in place under North Bridge.
