Edinburgh drivers have been warned after a crash on the city bypass has shut off a lane at a major junction.
Traffic Scotland issued an alert to motorists on Sunday morning (September 4) following the incident at the Hermiston Gait junction.
Live images from the scene have shown that the off-slip from Hermiston Gait onto the A720 has been cordoned off due to the collision.

Occurring shortly after 11.15am, recovery services are now at the site of the crash, with the RTC appearing to have involved one car and a small white van.
Speaking on social media, Traffic Scotland urged other drivers to take care in the area, with the off-slip and lane 1 hoped to reopen as soon as possible.

A tweet read: "#A720 collision #A720 off-slip from Hermiston Gait to #A71 partially blocked by a collision.
"TRISS are at the scene with lane 1 closed. Take care on approach."
