An Edinburgh brewery is bringing back their charity beverage, to raise money for a Motor Neuron Disease (MND) charity.
Doddie Beir, in memory of the late Doddie Weir, was created to raise funds for the My Name’s Doddie Foundation which supports the lives of those affected by MND. Weir, who was a Scottish rugby union player, passed away in November after battling the disease.
The rugby legend first collaborated with Cold Town Beer back in 2020 to release the beer, which is now making a return to Edinburgh pubs. Since it was released, the brewery have raised over £6,500 for Weir’s charity.
