An Edinburgh-bound train passenger was left in stitches after a fault with the ScotRail tannoy system had him thinking he had joined the Dark Side.
Callum Holt, who was travelling from Glasgow to Edinburgh on an early commute on Monday morning, had settled into his seat and was relaxing ahead of the work day.
However, when the ScotRail announcements came over the carriage tannoy, he was jolted out of his relaxation and left in stitches at the fault with the system.

Due to an apparent issue with the pitch in the system, the announcer had taken on a deep and glitched voice that the passenger attributed to a certain Star Wars villain.
Posting the hilarious video on Twitter, Callum wrote: "Hey @ScotRail, do all your trains have celebrity voices? Darth Vader announcing today has made my morning!"
The announcement said: "This is Coatdyke. This train is for Edinburgh Waverley. The next stop is Airdrie."
ScotRail responded to this video on social media, writing: "Made me chuckle too Callum. Can you see a carriage number and I'll report the fault?"
Callum then joked back: "As long as you have a Skywalker on a different train to keep the force balanced! Carriage number is 74324."

The ScotRail staff member then wrote: "Love it, thanks for making me smile this morning Callum. I've reported the fault!"
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Callum said: "I just found it funny! No-one enjoys an early morning commute and hearing Darth Vader announcing stops definitely gave me a good laugh before I'd started my day, which is always a nice way to begin the day!"
A few Twitter users enjoyed the video, and added jokes of their own to the Twitter thread. One wrote: "If that train asks if I want to play a game I'm getting off ASAP", alluding to the SAW villain Jigsaw, who also has a deep voice like Darth Vader.
And another said: "Wait until you hear the Brian Blessed one up North!!!! The Next stop is Invergordon's ALIVE!!!!
"The Francis Begbie one on the new tram route doon the Walk in Edinburgh is well worth the fare."
