He said about the Barry Fish pop up, prior to serving his first customers at the Swanfield Industrial Estate in Leith; "I'm so excited to bring a concept I'm so truly passionate about to your plates this summer.
"I will also be inviting a couple of great chefs from the city to join me for a guest chef slot on certain nights."
The menu at Barry Fish included the likes of the Barry Fish sausage roll, spiced monkfish and the Barry Fish coconut molee, with sea trout, mussels, clams and black lentils.
And speaking to Edinburgh Live following the success of the one-of-a-kind food venture, Barry said he was 'over the moon' with the feedback he's had from customers, while teasing a future return. He said: "The pop has sold out with a large number of people on the cancellations list too.
"We’ve had incredible reviews, so absolutely over the moon.
"I’m definitely going to be bringing it back in the future too".
