“This is not in the terms and conditions, it is valid from a Saturday to a Saturday - and if not usable on a Saturday it would have stated in terms and conditions. Very rude man with blonde hair, who I’m assuming was the manager, came over to show a phone and state it wasn’t valid, but they were the terms and conditions for a £10 sign up voucher, not a birthday voucher.
“He then walked away, but in a very hostile manner. We left and did not eat there as the service clearly was going to be terrible.”
Responding, Bar Soba staff said: “Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review.
“I’m saddened to hear about your negative experience with us here at Bar Soba. Please could you drop us an email with some further details.”
Overall, Bar Soba on Hanover Street is generally well received by customers with an overall four star rating. Currently, the restaurant has 451 ‘excellent’ reviews, and only 109 ‘terrible’ ones.
A recent review said: “First time in Bar Soba. Beautiful food, excellent service and the price was amazing.
“I will definitely be back and I’m telling everyone I know to go.”
