Edinburgh author JK Rowling has finally confirmed the reason she did not appear on our screens during the Harry Potter reunion show.
Eyebrows were raised across the globe when the series creator failed to take part in Return To Hogwarts, was aired on January 1.
Many wondered if the writer's controversial views on gender were the reason behind her no-show. But now the 57-year-old, who also took a year off Twitter, has confirmed it was actually her decision.
