Irvine Welsh says his friend's new Edinburgh coffee shop is the best in the city.
The internationally acclaimed author took to Twitter to promote the local business and shared an image of him picking up a coffee.
The picture shows the star chatting away as he collects his drink from a hatch at the small takeaway in the centre of the city.

He posted: “My friend Fleur has opened the best coffee place in central Edinburgh.
"Old school technology- get along for an ‘arresting’ brew.”
Although the Hibernian daft writer said the coffee shop is in the a central location, the precise spot was something of a mystery at first.
Users lined up on Twitter and asked Welsh where it is but he failed to respond initially.
One person said that the small takeaway unit sits at the top of India Street, on Heriot Row.
The author later responded and confirmed to Edinburgh Live that the location above was indeed correct.
It was announced last year that the Edinburgh man would be turning his book Trainspotting into a new TV mini-series.
The literary classic was followed up by a two-part film franchise, with the release of the original film in 1996 and the follow up in 2017.
Commenting on the plans, the 63-year-old said: “We’re talking about that. I’m not going to say anything because there will probably be some announcement soon.
“But it will be very different from anything we’ve done before.”
