An Edinburgh artist has produced a series of beautiful paintings in a bid to aid the Ukraine disaster relief effort.
Damian Callan has already fundraised over £1,800 for the victims of the crisis, by selling his evocative and emotional pieces of art for £120 per painting.
The first series of Collages for Ukraine proved so popular, all of the works sold out within days of being put up for sale.

Damian will this weekend showcase a second second series of the paintings in his studio and online, with all proceeds again going to the humanitarian aid effort in Ukraine.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Damian said: "I produced a series of collages to raise money for the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.

"The images feature my children and their cousins and friends enjoying a childhood free from the horrors of war.
"They are roughly A4 in size and are mounted in a simple IKEA frame.
"The cost is £120 and ALL the money received will be sent to the Disasters Emergency Committee.
"The images are based on the Ukrainian flag: I have torn two pieces of blue and yellow paper that meet with a horizontal edge in the middle.

"On to these are collaged figures torn from Scottish road maps. These are then drawn into with ink and coloured with oil pastel.
"I think they succeed in placing the children in a kind of Ukrainian landscape - the origin of the flag is revisited as the figures stand or move across the yellow wheat fields and are set against the blue sky".
The viewing of Damian's second series will take place this Saturday, at 10am, at his studio located at 2 West Park Place, Dalry Road, Edinburgh, EH11 2DP.
