An Edinburgh artist will be at the St James Quarter Starbucks this weekend, handcrafting personalised artworks instore.
Katie Smith will be at the outlet for the exclusive Valentine’s collaboration. From 9am until 5pm on February 9, she’ll be creating unique designs on reusable cups for the first 100 customers who’d like one.
The cups can be brought back into any Starbucks store for a 25p discount on your beverage.

Katie creates ‘playful and colourful’ designs, and each one will be completely different. She said: “I hope that customers enjoy the experience of having personalised designs on their cups that they can use over and over again.

“I have used positive messaging to allow the recipient to feel uplifted and empowered every time they pick up the cup, and remember to feel love or be loved.
“Valentine’s Day in 2023 means a whole host of emotions - to love yourself, love those around you, take time for those that mean the most and be accepting.”
