Edinburgh and West Lothian services are delayed this morning (June 20) due to a fault on a train near Armadale.
Commuters were alerted to the incident at around 7.30am which means services will be travelling at a slower pace or revised which will cause rush hour delays.

The fault is on a train in West Lothian heading towards Airdrie and services affected include: Edinburgh and Hyndland, Milngavie, Helensburgh Central, between Bathgate and Milngavie and also between Airdrie and Dalmuir, and Balloch.
ScotRail shared the news on Twitter and wrote: "NEW: Due to a fault on a train near Armadale, the line towards Airdrie is blocked. Services between Helensburgh Central/Milngavie and Edinburgh via Bathgate will be delayed or revised."
National Rail also put out a statement on the incident which reads: "A fault on a train at Armadale means that trains have to run at a reduced speed between Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street via Airdrie."

They added: "As a result, trains may be delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until 08:00."
