Edinburgh Airport's Burger King gave Belfast comedian 'worst burger' he has ever had

Burger King at Edinburgh Airport apologised to a customer on social media after he claimed they served him up the 'worst burger' ever.

Belfast comedian Paddy Mcdonell took to Twitter on Saturday to complain to the fast food chain about the state of two meals he bought at the airport.

Paddy says the meals were cold and drinks were like 'water.'

He posted: "Burger King, here we had two double cheese burger meals in Edinburgh Airport today. Stinking cold chips were cold and the drinks were like water. Get yer act together."

Burger King replied on Twitter almost straight away and offered an apology, but he claims they have since ignored his emails after the public apology.

They said: "Hi Paddy, we apologize about your experience. Can you please DM us your full name, phone number, email, the date/time/cost/order number of your order, as well as the complete address of the store location, so we can check this out? Thanks!"

However, speaking to Edinburgh Live, Paddy says that two days later they still have not been in touch.

The comedian did not see the funny side and says it is the worst Burger King he has ever had.

He explained: "We stood for 35 minutes waiting to use the self checkout machine to place our order.

"There were six machine but only three functioning.

"Once we ordered the food was fast enough but my god it was genuinely the worst burger I've got.

"It was cold and dry with no flavour and the bread was stale.

"The chips were stone cold and the drink was just water.

"Its the worst Burger King I've been in. I always was a fan of their burgers but after that I don't think I'll be back.

"To make matters worse I posted on Twitter about it and it went to the US Burger Kings - who directed me to the UK chain.

"They didn't reply to my message."

Edinburgh Live contacted Burger King for comment but they failed to reply.
