Edinburgh Airport passenger captured smashing suitcase to fit in luggage sizer

A passenger at Edinburgh Airport has been captured smashing pieces of his suitcase in order to make it fit in the check-in luggage holder.

While going on holiday can be a stressful time as well as a luxury, the emotion that most of us feel while in the airport can sometimes get the better of us.

For some, making sure your suitcase is under weight and your check-in bag slots nicely into the baggage sizer before take-off is a huge weight off the shoulders.

However, one Edinburgh Airport passenger was recently captured on TikTok having a bit of a moment while trying to ensure his small case fit inside the baggage sizer, a mission most of us have carried out at some point.

After noticing the bag would not slot nicely into the metal holder, he began to get forceful, as pieces of plastic can be seen flying everywhere. Fellow passengers are also captured looking on in confusion as the man continued to squeeze and kick.

Within minutes, the passenger then begins to hold the case down while trying to snap the wheels off with his foot, in a desperate attempt to meet the required size measurements.

Despite frustration clearly getting the better of the man, he persists with a smile on his face as people stop to watch the amusing episode unfold before their eyes.

After over two minutes, the passenger successfully smashes the handle and both wheels of his red case before shoving it half-way into the sizer. His efforts are then met with a round of applause from fellow flyers who appeared to have enjoyed their bout of pre-flight entertainment.
