Edinburgh actor Mark Bonnar shared a picture of his home city and referred to a certain area as "The people's republic," while filming for a new series of his popular show Guilt.
The 53-year-old has been in town filming series three of the hit show, with a popular Leith pub having the pleasure of paying homage to several scenes within the new series.
Bonnar was spotted alongside BBC film crews on Monday standing outside Robbie's on Leith Walk, to the surprise of locals who stumbled across the set on their travels.

Taking to Twitter, the actor, who has starred in shows such as Line of Duty, Shetland and Casualty, shared an image spanning the stretch of Leith Walk and a clapperboard with the caption: "Back in the people's republic... #Leith #Guilt3 #WalkTheWalk."
Fellow Scottish actor, who was involved in filming the new season, Greg McHugh, replied: "Guttit! Enjoy ya radge.!
Robbie's traditional pub is transformed into 'the Boundary Bar' for the filming with new name signs being placed on the windows. The Boundary - so called because it straddled the boundary between Leith and Edinburgh - was an infamous watering hole further down Leith Walk - now known as the Bier Hoose.
The popular BBC thriller immerses into a world of two brothers, one of whom is played by Bonnar, who run over an elderly man and attempt to cover it up until a neighbour starts to share doubts over the suspicious incident.
Bonnar knows the area well having studied at Leith Academy during his time growing up in the capital.
