Ederson has become the fastest Premier League player to rack up 150 wins in the competition, taking the record from former Manchester United star Patrice Evra.
Evra reached the tally in just 213 appearances, ever so slightly quicker than Ederson's current and former Manchester City team-mates Kevin De Bruyne (215) and Fernandinho (216). However, the Brazil goalkeeper achieved the feat in just 197 appearances thanks to City's victory over Leeds United on Wednesday.
Rodri put Pep Guardiola's side in front on the stroke of half-time, with Erling Haaland adding two second-half efforts. Pascal Struijk's Leeds goal denied Ederson a clean sheet, but the former Benfica man still ended up on the winning side.
Since joining City in the summer of 2017, Ederson has barely missed a game in the league. He played a minimum of 35 times in each of his five full seasons and has been an ever-present in the 2022-23 campaign despite playing second fiddle to Alisson at international level.
He kept a clean sheet on his Premier League debut, a 2-0 win at Brighton, and ended his first season as a title winner. Further league trophies followed in 2019, 2021 and 2022, while you have to go back more than a year for the last game the Brazilian missed in the competition.
Across those 197 games, Ederson has been shown 12 yellow cards and been sent off just once. That came early on against Wolves in December 2019, with City ultimately throwing away a 2-0 lead to lose at Molineux.

"After our defeat against Brentford and with how strong Arsenal are, as well as the opponents who come from behind, we have to be alert and careful," Guardiola said ahead of the Leeds game. "If the distance is bigger, it will be so difficult to catch them.
Arsenal had moved eight points clear of the reigning champions on Boxing Day after coming from behind to beat West Ham at the Emirates Stadium. Premier League top scorer Haaland played a big part in bringing the gap back down to five, though, and Guardiola had his say on the Norwegian after Wednesday's win.
"He (Haaland) scored a lot of goals but he could have scored more. He helped us a lot," Guardiola said, having earlier grinned when saying he was "so upset" at the striker's missed chances. "We played really well against this team in this stadium. We made a great performance in the second half when they were a bit more open.
"After the World Cup, nobody knows how we were going to react and the way Leeds were playing lately. Today, with the ball, we were brilliant. The relationship between Rico Lewis and Rodri was brilliant in the middle of the pitch."
