Eddie Howe is humble when asked about pulling off Newcastle feat Keegan and Robson didn't manage

Eddie Howe has now eclipsed two of the biggest managerial names in Newcastle United history by reaching a major final.

Neither Kevin Keegan or Sir Bobby Robson were able to manage such a feat but Howe is now a potential 90 minutes away from lifting a trophy at Wembley against either Manchester United or Nottingham Forest.

Some of the biggest names in football such as Ruud Gullit, Rafa Benitez and Kenny Dalglish also tried and failed to win something on Tyneside. But Howe can better all of them next month.
