Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe admits he's been left seriously impressed by the job Ange Postecoglou has produced at Celtic.

The 44-year-old was in advanced talks to become the next Parkhead boss last summer but walked away after protracted discussions.

And that opened the door for Postecoglou to take the reins in the wake of a campaign where Rangers romped to title glory by 25 points.
