Newcastle United were forced into a last minute change for their crucial clash against Leicester City. Brazilian star Joelinton pulled up with a muscle injury in the warm-up and was forced out of the encounter at St James' Park.
That meant that Elliot Anderson was slotted into the midfield as the Geordie lined up alongside Bruno Guimaraes and Sean Longstaff. Anderson had been unlucky not to start the game in the first place with only the return of the more experienced Longstaff denying him his place.
