Eddie Howe says that Elliot Anderson will get his chance to impress in the absence of suspended Bruno Guimaraes. The Brazil star is banned for three matches after his red card against Southampton in the League Cup semi-finals.
And while Howe knows he will be a massive loss to the Magpies, he believes opportunity knocks for others.
Howe, speaking at his press conference today ahead of the clash with West Ham, said: “We are going to miss Bruno massively as he is a huge player.

“Bruno has done ever so well for us. Whenever you lose one player you have to readjust.
“It will be an opportunity now for the group to find another way. We have had a really intense group of games and now we don’t and Bruno seems to miss a long time now.
“But the good thing for Bruno is he will be available for the final but there’s three huge games he is going to miss.”
Speaking about Anderson’s chances, Howe said: “We have Elliot who we really like and we’d love to see how he develops his career.
“We have other players who can play in midfield as well. We will miss Bruno’s presence and quality but we have to adjust as a team and we will do.”
