Matchroom Boxing boss Eddie Hearn believes Jake Paul is fighting "levels above" his YouTube rival KSI.
KSI - real name Olajide Olatunji - won two fights in one night as he knocked out rapper Swarmz and professional boxer Luis Pineta this past weekend. Both men were a clear mismatch for the YouTuber as Swarmz was warned several times to stop turning his back before eventually being stopped in the second round. Unknown journeyman Pineda was then knocked down seven times as he suffered his sixth professional defeat.
Hearn, who promoted KSI's professional debut against Logan Paul in 2019, thinks the Brit had made improvements after spending almost three years away from the ring. "He [KSI] looked better than he did when he boxed Logan Paul the second time," Hearn said on the DAZN Boxing Show. "Jake Paul is fighting levels above what we saw on Saturday. I think Jake Paul beats KSI but KSI looked better, although he was up against nothing. I think I’ll give him credit for looking a bit better than I thought he might."

Paul, who is unbeaten in five professional fights, has indicated he will fight KSI next summer at Wembley Stadium in a winner-takes-all showdown. 'The Problem Child' will first have to get through UFC legend Anderson Silva as it was reported the 47-year-old would serve as Paul's next opponent.
KSI called out several names following his recent wins, but notably absent from the list was Paul. The Brit admitted that he needs more experience before fighting Paul, who has been dedicating his craft to the sweet science for over two years whilst KSI was busy focusing on his YouTube and music career.
Paul has knocked out every professional opponent he's faced, but has also received criticism for the quality of those opponents. The 25-year-old has fought YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA star Nate Robinson and now-retired MMA champions Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley so far. Hearn thinks a fight between KSI and Paul would be huge, despite stating neither of them are "very good" boxers.
"It’s still a huge fight those two, and it would be competitive, because I’ve said before, and I don’t mean it disrespectfully neither of them are very good. They’re not seasoned or skilled fighters, that doesn’t mean it can’t be entertaining, it might be more entertaining watching those guys just unravel in front of the world," he added.
