Eddie Hall has already identified next boxing opponent after Thor Bjornsson

Eddie Hall wants to fight Polish strongman Mariusz Pudzianowski as part of a plan to continue his boxing journey after settling his rivalry with Thor Bjornsson.

The British star will finally enter the ring with long-term rival Bjornsson this weekend as the pair prepare to do battle in Dubai. Hall has been training for around two years in preparation for the clash and has shedded around 40kg in a remarkable transformation.

Hall is confident that he can secure a maiden victory in the sport this weekend and believes many boxing celebrity clashes have certainly taken off. “I wanna move on to another fight and I know for a fact Thor doesn’t want to rematch,” Hall told Muscle and Health. “I don’t blame him. He knows what’s coming to him and he doesn’t want that to happen twice.

"At the end of the day, I’ve been boxing for two years, and I’ve put my heart and soul into it, so it’d be a shame to fight once and make an exit. I’d like to carry on. I’m not saying I wanna fight with pro boxers, but I think this sort of clash of the celebrities has really taken off.

"Mariusz Pudzianowski has been coming onto my channel and having met him, he seems like a nice guy. So it’d be good to do business. It could be another battle of the strongmen. Another clash of the title.”

Pudzianowski is the most successful athlete in the history of the World's Strongest Man competitions winning the event five times. He is known as 'Domination' and has a social media following of over 500,000.

The Polish star has also fought in MMA having had 24 bouts while recording 16 victories in the sport. He is significantly older at 45-years-old which could be a potential obstacle to any ring showdown.

Hall suffered a detached bicep injury in training last year so was unable to fulfil his previous scheduled date with Bjornsson in September. He has since been suffering with a chest infection but is now in Dubai ready to take part in fight week activities.

The pair were involved in a heated confrontation where both men accused each other of spitting after being separated by both fighter's teams. Hall and Bjornsson hurled abuse at each other after coming together for the first time.

Hall sent Bjornsson a warning message previously in the shared hotel gym, writing: "To Thor/ Numbnuts. Just wanted to wish you all the best and look forward to smashing your face in/ correcting your face on Saturday. Keep dribbling. Tell your yes men they are doing a great job of fooling you into believing you're any good and gargling your man muck."
