Eddie Hall fans convinced Thor Bjornsson looks "unhealthy" after weight loss

Thor Bjornsson has lost over 50kg ahead of his fight with Eddie Hall, but some think fans he doesn't look healthy in his new physique.

Bjornsson has lost almost a quarter of his original body weight in his preparations for the fight, cutting down from a massive 205kg to 145kg.

It's the lightest weight Bjornsson has been since the age of 10 with some believing he looks like " two different people " after his appearance has changed drastically.

The former strongmen rivals will fight in Dubai on March 19, six months after their original meeting was cancelled as Hall tore his bicep.

Fans of Hall recently weighed in on his opponent's physique, with one stating: "He doesn't look healthy at all, has he even slept this year yet as doesn't look like it".

"Thing is with your size and power will hurt him, he will of lost loads of power probably to be faster," another commented.

Whilst a third user added: "Damn... how much weight has he lost?

Bjornsson is currently training in Scotland with coach Billy Nelson for the fight whilst Hall is training in Stoke and has sparred with professional boxer Thomas Carty.

The Icelandic fighter has competed in one amateur fight against Larratt and two exhibition bouts against professional boxers Steven Ward and Simon Valily.

Hall, who has never stepped foot in the ring, has a rivalry with Bjornsson dating back to when they competed in the 2017 World's Strongest Man competition.

The Brit has described Bjornsson as a "black cloud" over him and wants to knock him out in their fight.

"To be honest, I just want to bang this guy out, bang him out again, and then just get him out of my headspace," Hall told Muscle and Health.

"I’ve just spent too much time fixated on wanting to hurt this man and I just need to move on. He wronged me in 2017, he’s put a black cloud over me for a number of years. I just want to put that to bed and move on with my life."

"We want to hurt, well, I want to hurt him. This is a serious fight. We actually genuinely hate each other," he added.

And Hall thinks Bjornsson only won the World's Strongest Man in 2018 because the Brit had retired and didn't compete that year.

"The only reason Thor took the World’s Strongest Man title is because I retired, he added. "So he’s welcome. He’s welcome that I retired. He’s lucky I retired, or else he never would have won the World’s Strongest Man."
