Ed Sheeran's performance STOPPED; Bengaluru DCP claims appeal was 'rejected': Church Street becomes too congested

Ed Sheeran on Sunday hit the headlines after his street performance was stopped by a Bengaluru police officer. A viral video doing the rounds online saw a policeman walking up to the singer and unplugging his microphone as he performed 'Shape of You' on a footpath on Church Street.

According to a report on ANI, the police claimed that the singer's street performance was held without obtaining the necessary permissions.
