Ed Sheeran welcomed former The Fray frontman Isaac Slade as a surprise special guest at his Atlanta concert on Saturday, 3 October. Slade performed an abbreviated set at Mercedes-Benz Stadium before Sheeran's headline performance. His appearance also brought a message about finding common ground amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

The 45-year-old musician performed two of The Fray's best-known songs, 'How to Save a Life' and 'You Found Me.' Between performances, he told the audience he was 'honoured to be here.' Slade then addressed the situation in Gaza and encouraged people to move beyond opposing sides.
